SAVE LAMBEAGE!

HELP US SAVE THE LAMBEAGE HALL FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

Since the Lambeage Hall was built back in 1922, it has weathered many storms and well-intentioned improvements have caused some problems to the foundation.  In order for us to refurbish and develop the hall further, we need to ensure the current and future structural integrity of the building, and are asking for your help.

We see a great future for the Lambeage and we need your help to make this happen.  We are seeking donations to fund the foundation work of our beloved Lambeage.  This is phase one of our plans, and further funds would allow us to improve the facilities both inside and out, to make Lambeage Hall a more welcoming community space.

Ways you can donate:

    • Drop cash/cheque into the ‘Save Lambeage’ box at the Coverack village store.  Please make cheques payable to Lambeage Hall.
    • Or online through our Virgin Giving page.

Your donations will help:

  • Secure the foundations - rectify the foundation issues and ensure the future structural integrity of the building – COMPLETED JULY 2019
  • Update and improve the interior - refurbish toilets, kitchen, bar and stage, replace curtains and repaint.
  • Improve the outside - undertake improvements to the building including providing facilities for disabled access, signage, exterior decoration, balcony, public address system, improved parking and outside area, and grounds keeping.

The wider business plan for the Lambeage Hall:

  • To prepare a scheme for future development of the hall
  • To support and encourage existing activities – Ju-Jitsu, yoga, films, theatre, music, art, horticultural events, weddings, parties
  • To encourage new and regular activities and events for the community such as an art festival, indoor bowls, adult education.

We will keep this page up to date and thank you for your support.
